Senior Development Lead (Java/Scala)

A small but global firm that specializes in developing technology for the financial sector is actively seeking a Development Lead to join its Boston office. You will be working to develop software applications to generate trade ideas, create market-beating analysis, and creating data tailored to investor and trading communities within the financial sector. This opportunity gives you the chance to work for a rapidly growing firm within a challenging and positive environment. In addition to developing more junior developers, the Development Lead will be expected to adapt to clients needs and market demands. You will also be using agile development techniques and given the latest tools within the development market. Key Attributes Needed: - BS or MS Degree, preferably in a Technical Field - Use of open-source software and genuine interest in the finance sector - Experience of testing techniques such as BDD and TDD - Preferable experience in bringing products to market within the financial sector - Strong coding background, preferably in Java and Scala
