SENIOR DEVELOPER/TECHNICAL EXPERT (JAVA, J2EE, ORACLE, HIBERNATE)
ENDEAVOUR RECRUITMENT has a fantastic 9 month contract opportunity for a Technical Expert with strong experience to work for our client, a leading European institution, in the beautiful Belgian capital of Brussels.
The Technical Expert will be required to carry out primarily technical work related to the development, maintenance and support of Information Systems, typically under the supervision of a Project Manager.
TASKS INCLUDE:
- Requirements analysis
- Process and Datamodelling, drawing up of functional and technical specifications
- Prototyping
- Development of applications in accordance with the specifications
- Development of unit and integration test suites, plans and programs
- Definition and integration of technological components Contract Statement of Work
- Integration with other applications
- Production of technical documentation
- Assistance with training administrators and users of the system.
- Assistance with deployment and configuration of the system
- Assist with evaluating and testing products delivered by other teams to ensure that they conform to the Client's requirements and methodology.
- Quality control
- Test and acceptance
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Strong and demonstrable experiences in the tasks specified in the Tasks description
- At least 2 years' experience in IT. (6+years' for the Senior position)
- Application Development Experience
- JAVA and N-Tiers architectures/tools:
- Java
- J2EE
- EJB
- Spring
- Struts
- JSP
- JavaScript
- Jboss
- Oracle
- Hibernate
- XML
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- French language speaking skills is desirable but not essential.
- Degree in a related discipline eg Computer Science
START DATE: 15/05/2014 for a duration of 9 months.
HOURLY RATE: Up to euro;47 per hour, depending on experience.
