Our client is a Global Technology Company with operations in Leixlip, Co Kildare.
They are currently seeking an experienced developer/Architect to join their team.
The successful candidate will participate to the full cycle from investigation of new technologies to
deployment of innovative applications supporting ES and classical IT business needs.
Requirements:
* WEB/.NET/Mobility and Service Oriented tooling and architectures.
* Awareness of developing high availability and high throughput applications
* Participates as a member of and leads development teams in areas such as web 2.0, mobility, SOA architecture.
* Detailed understanding of large enterprise management tools and their overall monitoring needs.
* Performs analysis of complex functional and business requirements.
* Designs solutions for others to code. Completes code to implement solutions.
* Prepares code stubs for others. Performs solution design.
* Applies client technologies and leads design of highly complex infrastructure and software solutions.
* Participates in cross-functional teams. Leads design activities.
* Provides mentoring and guidance to other developers, including remote teams in China, or Eastern Europe.
* Represents team to client/customers.
* Demonstrates technical leadership, and exerts influence outside of immediate team.
* Technical leadership of assigned project.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
* 5 or more years of experience writing code (such as, and not limited to, Java, C, C++, C#, VB.NET; databases like Sql
* Server/Oracle; and Testing tools Experience of multiple full release cycles. Advanced understanding of modern software
* development methodologies. Advanced understanding of modern software development tools and Software Configuration
* Management (SCM). Advanced understanding of Software Test methodologies, and an expert in testing tools. Expert in
* Database Administration. General Project Management. Customer/Vendor Management. Business Analysis. Advanced
* Web technologies. Good verbal and written communication skills; influencing skills and ability to work effectively in a geographically dispersed team.
* Demonstrated technical leadership skills.
