Senior Developer - scientific applications - learn SAP HANA - Switzerland !
-English speaking
-Proven skills in Python and/or Javascript
- Application knowledge that includes both Front End and Back End applications
- Ideally background in scientific programming, or keen to learn
- Understanding of math and statistics
- Experience of dealing with large datasets
- Interest to learn SAP HANA
- Exposure to Machine-learning, RDF, SPARQL, Triple stores
Interesting development role working on applications in the life sciences area that support nutritional and healthfood product development at this household name, global FMCG company. Able to innovate and work independently as required, you will be part of a team developing both Front End and Back End applications to support research and development activities. Initially using Python and Javascript, there is a plan to migrate to a SAP HANA based environment and this opportunity offers a superb opportunity to participate in that project and learn new, very marketable skills !
Initially until the budget yearend 2015, there is lots of potential for a longer term assignment
Please note we are only able to consider applications from EU or Swiss passport/permit holders for this role. Based in the French speaking part of Switzerland near cheap international travel hubs (and the slopes!), and being paid in the most stable currency (Swiss Francs) in the world, you will be fully assisted for the duration of your assignment (relocation, work permit, insurances, taxation etc) by our Swiss office - real local support on your doorstep!
