Senior Developer - Java, .Net, PHP - Berkshire - £45k to £55k

You will be joining a small but growing business which is a spin off from an international IT security business. The business is growing rapidly and has secured a number of multi-million pound contracts with Government bodies and Fortune 100 companies this year. As a Senior Developer you will have the potential to lead the Development team which is expected to grow from 3 to 15 over the next few years. Due to the sensitive nature of the work SC Clearance may be required adn we can only except applications from British Nationals.

You'll be joining a team with a good sense of humour who aren't afraid of big, difficult engineering problems.

Due to the variety of components being used, the candidate must be comfortable learning new skills as they work and be able to transfer skills and techniques from one environment/language to another.

Skills & Experience

Must be reasonably proficient in at least 2 of: Java EE, Asp.Net MVC3/4 (VB.Net) and PHP.

Must have a good understanding of:

- HTTP and the webpage lifecycle includingAJAXrequests, keep-alive connections etc
- JSON
- Web services (SOAP and RESTful)
- Multi-threaded, scalable application development

Beneficial Knowledge:

- SQL (Both MySQL and MSSQL)
- Javascript
- elasticsearch / SOLR / Lucene
- MongoDb
- Fuzzy hashing or fingerprinting algorithms (ssdeep/deeptoad)
- Inversion of Control (Dependency Injection) techniques
- Search experience
