Senior Developer - Contract to Hire

Yoh has a contract to permanent opportunity for a DEVELOPER to join our client in Atlanta, GA.

JOB OVERVIEW:

Our client is seeking a technical professional with strong SQL Server 2008/5 experience with specific SSIS knowledge and strong MS Analysis Services understanding with three (3) plus years of OLAP development experience (Data warehouse concepts, fact, dimension structure, Data Mart development, etc).

Job Responsibilities:
- Create, modify, document, and enhance data specifications including identifying and mapping data elements from source systems into the dimensional data warehouse
- Interact with users to define system requirements
- Translate requirements into technical specifications
- Validate that the data warehouse meets specified requirements

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field
- Four (4) plus years of industry experience in Data Warehousing and developing software applications including: analysis, design, coding, testing, deploying and supporting of applications
- Ability to function and contribute in a team environment.
- Work with customers to define and document the scope and functional requirements for data and reporting needs.
- Understand and balance business requirements and user expectations.
- Takes initiative, quick learner, an ability to work independently on data warehouse tasks with a minimal amount of supervision.
- Use of deductive reasoning and analytic ability to transform data into information for key decision makers within the organization verifying that consistent information is always delivered.
- Excellent technical analysis/design skills
- Track record of delivering projects on time
- Must exhibit good verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work with technical and business-oriented teams
- Ability to support rotational coverage including weekend
