Senior Developer

POSITION PURPOSE:

- This position will be responsible for web content publishing for one of the microsites.
- The ideal candidate will interact with US marketing and external agencies to understand the content publishing needs according to the marketing and key event calendar.
- The candidate will work on creating Front End visual concepts based on the requirements and work with involved stakeholders to get an approval
- Once approved, the candidate will publish the content in the content management staging area and perform the required Quality Assurance Testing to ascertain that the content appears as designed in all browsers and devices.
- The candidate will also work on getting the final stakeholder approvals and push the content into production. In case of any reported production issues related to the published content, the candidate will provide all the necessary support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Format the desired site content into HTML/JavaScript/CSS and publish/test using the Adobe Content Management infrastructure
- Work with the US Marketing and involved agencies to understand the marketing calendar and plan the content publishing work
- Ensure that all the relevant stakeholders are continuously informed regarding the status of the work

SKILLS:

MINIMUM/PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

- At least 5 years of experience in HTML, JavaScript, Ajax, CSS technologies
- Highly experienced in Quality Assurance particularly in testing web pages across browsers and devices
- Bachelor's degree or a four year equivalent is preferred
- Working knowledge of image editing tools such as Adobe Photoshop or similar
- A knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager content management or any other content management product is a plus
- Has a basic understanding of site tagging for web analytics
- Is an excellent problem solver
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- A self driven individual who can independently handle the assigned tasks to completion

- Knowledge of content management (Adobe CQ5 or Experience Manager is a plus)
