We are looking for an experienced WEB DEVELOPER who has strong experience with Web Technologies and is able to liaise with senior stakeholders. Ideally we are looking for the successful candidate to start in early July 2014.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Develop code based on the functional requirements in line with the agreed project methodologies.
- Produce technical specifications to support the code that has been developed.
- Perform code reviews as required.
- Perform defect resolution and adhere to the documented defect process flow.
- Collaborate with key members of the team relating to the system enhancements.
- Liaise with key stakeholders through solution design to understand user experience requirements.
- Utilise agreed tools and methods to establish, clarify and improve the user experience when developing functional design.
- Conduct walkthroughs with the functional analyst and test team members as required.
- Liaise with vendors to ensure service delivery according to agreed service levels.

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

- Minimum of 5 years Development experience
- Excellent knowledge of web technologies (HTML5/CSS/JavaScript/Forms)
- Excellent SQL skills and a working knowledge of Oracle databases
- Payment/billing systems experience
- Code repository tool experience
- Good communication, facilitation, influencing and negotiation skills, and the ability to adapt these to a diverse range of stakeholders and contexts.
- Excellent written communication skills with a proven ability to write quality technical documentation
- Substantial experience analysing and resolving complex problems while providing effective progress communications and fault escalation procedures
- Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement
- Able to start in July 2014
