Our client is a leading Swiss bank, based in Zürich. In order to reinforce their team, Swisslinx is seeking a SENIOR DEVELOPER.
In your role you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Build a prototype system for building and querying social graphs
- Extract networks of relationships from large datasets
- Refine an existing scoring model for relationships
- Implement shortest-path and other classical Graph Theory algorithms on the resulting model
In order to be considered for this position, we are looking to find the best candidates with the following profile:
- Ideally Master or PhD degree in Computer Science
- 5+ years' experience of Java programming
- Very good understanding of Big Data techniques, such as Hadoop and MapReduce
- Good understanding of graph theory and practical implementations of graph-algorithms
- Experience with Graph Database and with data integrations is an advantage
- Good communication skills
- Fluent in English
