Senior Developer (.NET Platform and ASP.NET web Application Frameworks

Our client is an Agile Software Development Shop that builds custom software solutions for a broad range of North America's top companies.

We are looking for a Senior Developer with the following attributes:

- Demonstrated experience with .NET platform (2.0 and above) and ASP.NET web application frameworks and tools.
- Skills building an excellent user experiences and integrating web apps with Back End systems.
- Experience building customized solutions using leading web development tools and technologies.
- Enjoy working with collaborative teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Create practical and state-of-the-art solutions using your web application development expertise.
- Implement effective and maintainable software solutions.
- Provide work effort estimates.
- Have clear communications with all sponsors, partners, clients and participant throughout the life cycle of the project
- Cooperate with Software Engineers/Developers to integrate with Back End services and enterprise systems.
- Collaborate with Agile project team

SKILLS and QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years designing/implementing interactive, data-rich Internet applications.
- Passionate about clean, semantic HTML,
- Proper use of CSS and JavaScript.
- Passionate about UX and developing user-oriented web applications.
- Well versed with C# 2.0 and above.
- Well versed with ASP.NET MVC 2++.
- Well versed with ASP.NET Web Form and AJAX extensions.
- Knowledgeable of TDD and passionate about developing clean, testable software.
- Knowledgeable with modern browser support and accessibility.
- Experienced with one of SVN, Git, Mercurial, TFS.
- Knowledgeable with Continuous Integration principles and tools.
- Experience with a DI (Dependency Injection) container such as NInject, Unity.
- Experience with a mock testing framework such as Moq, RhinoMock.
- Well versed with a unit testing library such as NUnit or xUnit.NET.
- Experience with Web Services (including SOAP, XML, XML Schema, JSON and REST concepts and frameworks).
- Experience with one or more of the following RDBMS: Oracle 10++, MySQL 5.x, SQL Server 2005/2008++ coupled with a solid understanding and experience with SQL.
- Experience with Sharepoint and Web Parts a big plus.
- Experience with WCF a big plus.
- Financial Sector experience a big plus.
- Solid understanding of client deliverables and the ability to take responsibility for them.
- Solid communication skills (both written and verbal) are a must.
- Must possess a collaborative, curious, team mindset.
- Must love writing software and working with a team to build great solutions.
- University degree/diploma in computer science, engineering or equivalent training/experience.
