For one of our clients based in Zurich, we are urgently seeking a Senior Dev Ops Engineer
Tasks:
Primarily consist in improving and maintaining the clients continuous delivery process by automating their dev pipeline to make the 'commit to deploy' process a quick and painless one for the development team, setting up tools which keep track of Servers and their status, ensuring that the tools for the team are fit for use and fit for purpose.
The tools and frameworks our client currently use are the following and any previous experience using and configuring them is definitely a strong asset:
Accurev, Accusync, Sonar, Jenkins, Maven, Cobertura, Cucumber, Selenium, JIRA, Confluence, jMeter, Gomez, Liquibase
Additional knowledge and experience required:
Ability to use a wide variety of technologies and tools
Ability to code and script
Experience with systems and IT operations
Previous experience with Software development Continuous Integration
Previous experience in Agile
Comfortable with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment
Strong grasp of automation tools
Data management skills
Comfortable with collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional borders
Language Requirements: Fluent in English
Location of work: Zurich
