SENIOR DEV ENGINEER - DEVOPS - AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS

THE CLIENT

The client is a professional services company, providing IT and BSS solutions from finance through to telecommunications. They operate in over 50 countries, servicing 600 customers worldwide.

THE ROLE

The client is looking for a Senior Dev Engineer to TAKE THE LEAD IN DESIGNING, CODING, CONFIGURING AND COMPILING AN APPLICATION VERSION AND IN THE WRITING AND PERFORMING OF THE FUNCTIONAL, INTEGRATION AND PRODUCTION TESTING.

- Analyzing the demand/need of the 'client' and translate this question to the appropriate functionality;
- The design of the design of the application and describe the application;
- Drawing up plans for the development and implementation of the application;
- Developing and executing tests;
- In close consultation with relevant Operations Engineers ensure qualitative implementation of the application according to plan.

THE INDIVIDUAL

- Knowledge of AGILE/SCRUM
- DEVOPS EXPERIENCE
- Experience of various TEST AUTOMATION TOOLS (SELENIUM, FITNESSE, UFT, RIT)
- Experience of databases (SQL, MS SQL, ORACLE)
- Knowledge of NETWORKING, SECURITY AND MONITORING
- Experience in the FINANCIAL INDUSTRY IS DESIRABLE
