ROLE:  SENIOR DESKTOP SUPPORT ENGINEER (Audio Visual/Video Conferencing) -BANKING

Key  Essential Skills:

Audio Visual/Video Conferencing, Unified Communication, Setup and operation of AMX/Crestron panels, Polycom/Cisco video conferencing

Role & Responsibilities:

As an Audio visual/Video Conference/Desktop Support Engineer you will be required to provide 1st/2nd line support on a face to face and remote support basis.

Dealing with senior executives you will be setting up VC (Video conferencing - Polycom) Equipment for meetings, Audio Visual Equipment checks, Cable Checks and fixing as appropriate.

Through the given process and working in a controlled environment, you will need to demonstrate enthusiasm for the role and be part of the team objectives.  Leading by example and able to keep the show on the road in the absence of the Team leader, this role requires strong Desktop Support skills and understanding and reasons behind process.  Duties are focused on the efficient coordination of customer Break Fix issue and management of Customer Requests during the busy day to day support environment.  Investment Banking operational hours, out of hour's work, involvement in varying project activities and physical desktop equipment or the provision of new desktop technology environments are all part of this role.

- New technology piloting,
- Technical point of contact for all break fix issues and escalation
- Operational Acceptance task
- Accurate data feedback to Team Leader around daily issues and Incident Management
- Ability to prioritise and structure work load
- Supporting the Investment Banking work ethic with colleagues
- Establish and maintain key relationships with primary Service Delivery functions within EUS
- Own and complete day to day Break Fix and Task Request tickets

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE:

The following skill sets are required:

- Minimum of 4 years Banking Support experience
- YOU MUST HAVE SUPPORTED AUDIO/VISUAL SOLUTIONS FOR AT LEAST 2 YEARS
- Good working knowledge of Banking business structures
- Good working knowledge of key infrastructure
- Strong communicator and ability to engage colleagues and customers at all levels
