SENIOR DESKTOP LEAD ENGINEER

BRINE SA is currently seeking a Senior Desktop Lead Engineer to join a highly skilled desktop engineering team responsible for design and to produce secure, stable, and with good experience of Microsoft landscape. In this particular role the candidate will concentrate on engineering, based on Windows 10, which will be introduced across the whole bank.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

The Senior Desktop Lead Engineer will be required to take business requirements from product management, gather and take into the account all requirements related to bank enterprise architecture and answer to them with technical solutions during engineering process of new Windows10 build releases. The Candidate will be involved in the optimization of the build and work in areas such as performance in the terms of speed to loading applications, overall performance, login times, policy load times, configuration management and vulnerability management. The Engineer will take technical lead role in his/her area and will act as centre of competence for product management, architecture and engineering team.

QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE:

At least 10 years Windows engineering

Thorough knowledge of Windows Operating Systems (Windows 7, Windows10)
-

Knowledge and experience in system management and deployments software (SCCM)
-

Knowledge of MSI and packaging methodologies
-

Knowledge of PowerShell & VBS
-

Knowledge of Windows Client deployment
-

Knowledge of Active Directory, especially Group Policies
-

Knowledge of WMI
-

Experience of App-v based application troubleshooting.

Knowledge of Windows Server
-

Previous experience of integration work
-

Experience of Virtualizing Desktop Environment and Citrix technologies

Knowledge of PKIs
-

Knowledge of ITIL processes
