Senior Designer-Builder

The senior designer-builder is responsible for translating the architecture into specific IT solutions and follows the completion of the product portfolio. The senior designer-builder fulfills construction, testing and integration guidelines and to the realization of management and security aspects, which are preconditions for production in particular, and for the construction and composition of ICT products and services within an area of expertise.

The senior designer-builder belongs to a team in one of the above areas and belonging to a team leader realization.

Job Profile
- Is the first point of contact and source of information for other designers and builders;
- Enables realization advice and design specifications for more complex/composite systems;
- Programming, configuring and manufactures scripts;
- Manufactures achievement test plans and performs unit and integrated achievement tests;
- Provides the documentation of developments and changes;
- Acts on implementation problems;
- Advises architecture and product management from design perspective;
- Checks if the different designs on each other and totally complete system solution (as described in the architecture) offer;
- Processing problems found in new releases;
- Makes products from external suppliers ready for integration and testing in the release;
- Provides input/assist in the preparation of schedules;
- Packed products from external suppliers, add it to the configuration database and take the product in the version control system;
- If necessary, participates in the work of developer.

Competency
Training and experience requirements:
- HBO/WO working and thinking;
- Extensive knowledge of and experience with ICT, preferably on the basis of a bachelor degree computer science;
- Extensive knowledge of and experience with one of the focus areas;
- Extensive knowledge and experience in infrastructure development;
- Knowledge of ITIL.
