Senior Design Engineer

I am currently working with a leading company specialising in designing equipment for subsea installation on a Staff Senior Design Engineer Position in their Bridge of Don facility in Aberdeen. You will report to the Engineering Manager and maintain key relationships with VP Engineering, Design Draughtsmen, Project Engineers, the Equipment Manager and Equipment Supervisors. Essential requirements for this role include: Knowledge of structural and steel engineering, with mechanical and fabrication experience in an Oil and Gas background, including topside, accommodation, cranes, and lifting cranes A background in bridge building will also be considered. You will have had experience in relationship building with clients and third parties, and experience working on quick projects. A Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Structural Engineering would be preferred. Please be aware that candidates who are not in possession of a Tier 1 Visa / British Citizenship cannot be considered for this role due to my client being unable to sponsor, as well as there being occasional travel requirements. Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 depending on experience This is an urgent requirement; interviews will be taking place early next week.
