Senior DataStage Engineer

A Senior DataStage Engineer is urgently required for a long-term, lucrative contract position with a market leading financial services client based in Amsterdam.

The Senior DataStage Engineer will work in a team working to load a variety of data sources into the client's Information Warehouse.

The Senior DataStage Engineer will ideally have 65%+ of the following skills and experience:

- VERY STRONG KNOWLEDGE OF AND EXPERIENCE WITH INFOSPHERE DATASTAGE ENTERPRISE EDITION
- VERY STRONG KNOWLEDGE OF AND EXPERIENCE WITH DATAMODELLING
- GOOD EXPERIENCE OF 'REAL TIME DATA INTEGRATION'
- GOOD EXPERIENCE OF INTEGRATING XML'S INTO DATASTAGE ENVIRONMENT
- KNOWLEDGE OF AND EXPERIENCE WITH DIMENSIONAL MODELLING
- EXPERIENCE WITH DE END-TO-END DELIVERY OF DATA INTEGRATION SOLUTIONS, INCLUDING OPERATIONS
- Netezza or other MPP architecture experience (strongly preferred)
- Scheduling tools (preferably TWS-D)
- SQL
- UNIX, Linux
- Shell Scripting (bash)
- Agile/SCRUM
- Familiarity with test driven development (nice to have)
- Data Vault modelling (nice to have)
- Automated Testing (nice to have)
- GIT
- Continuous Delivery and tools like: Nolio, Ansible, Artifactory, etc. (nice to have)
- Knowledge of and experience with Hadoop/NoSQL (nice to have)
- Fluent English, Dutch speakers preferred
