SENIOR DATASTAGE/DEVOPS ENGINEER

One of the Netherlands largest financial clients are urgently looking for an Senior Datastage/DevOps Engineer with strong Linux expertise to work in a progressive environment using cutting-edge technologies for a 6-12 months' contract in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

THE IDEAL SENIOR DATASTAGE/DEVOPS ENGINEER WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

* Several years as an Support/Operations engineer in Linux or data warehouse environment. You have broad understanding of ETL and related tools.
* Leader in engineering skills
* Experience with Linux stack
* Bash Scripting
* Experience with Continuous Integration/Delivery (eg Ansible, Jenkins, Artifactory)
* Experience with versioning tooling like GIT
* Experience in setting up monitoring with the ELK stack (Elastic search/Logstash/Kibana)
* Experience with performance management on the linux stack and ETL jobs.
* Experience with ETL tooling like DataStage (Pre), Informatica, SAS DI, SSIS
* Experience with database like Oracle, PDA (Netezza), SQL server.
* Experience with life cycle management of applications in a data warehouse environment
