Senior Application & Services Datacentre Project Manager : Application, Services and Data migration

Recruiting for a senior Application Migration Project Manager to work on a Data Centre programme for a world-leading Research university based in central London to start ASAP.
As the university grows and changes in size, more datacentre facilities are required. You will play a key part in migrating the current applications, data and services from the existing data centre to the new data centre. As the Senior Project Manager, you will be working within a team of 5+ project managers and other technical resource overseeing the migration of the services and applications.

The ideal senior Project Manager candidate will have a high degree of experience with successfully migrating applications and services into a data centre in a recent, previous project working for either a public sector organisation or university before.

As well as the above, you will be wholly responsible for producing key documentation and will engage daily with stakeholders.
It is expected that the successful candidate will work alongside the senior Infrastructure Project Manager and various other team members to ensure a seamless link between supporting the enabling infrastructure and the applications and services.

Ideally you will have also worked in a Prince 2 project environment, will be able to communicate effectively with non-technical team members and have experience of project managing the implementation and migration of the technology strands listed above.
