Senior Database Engineer

Senior Database Engineer is required to work on a project for a major pharmaceutical company in Basel. Senior Database Engineer

MAIN TASKS IN THIS POSITION:

-Our customer will start a 3 years biotech project which is in pilot status.
-Our customer is looking for a technical, senior data modeler with profound experience with data integration and Datamodelling

YOUR PROFILE:

- Advanced understanding of data modelling and systems integration
-Proven experience with integrating the data sources eg (Osisoft PI, MES as must have, LIMS as nice to have, SAP R/3)
-Experience with SQL as a must have
- Designing database structures, cube structures and internal processing systems to meet product and project objectives
-Implement and test database model design and functionality
- Design and develop Back End database interfaces
-Perform virtual database tuning activities ensure optimal performance
-Provide support for running projects
-Good knowledge of "JBoss Data Virtualizationis" is a plus
- Languages: Fluent English, other languages as a plus
-GxP experience as a plus
- Location: Basel - Switzerland

Duration: 10.09.2015 - 31.12.2015 (extension optional)
