Senior Database Application Administrator (15 Years Experience)

An exciting opportunity is available for a DATABASE APPLICATION ADMINISTRATOR EXPERT WITH A PROVEN TRACK RECORD OF 15 YEARS IN DATABASE ADMINISTRATION, 3 YEARS IN APPLICATION ADMINISTRATION AND A UNIVERSITY DEGREE. This role is located in Brussels.

We are looking for candidates with the following profile:

Skills:

- Oracle RDBMS administration and tuning;
- SQL
- Hibernate performance troubleshooting;
- Minimum 15 years of experience in the domain of Database Administration;
- Minimum 3 years of experience as Application DBA.

Education:

- University degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Tasks:

- Implement logical data model at physical level;
- Maintain DEV, TEST, Acceptance, Maintenance and Production databases;
- Help developer in improving data access performance;
- Help developers and analysts to check data migrations.

The candidate needs to have a good command of English. Knowledge of French would be an advantage.

This position is offered as a freelance contract with a total duration of up to 5 years.

Applicants should be able to start ASAP/in April.

The day rate will be 380-400 Euro depending on the suitability of the candidate.
