Senior Database Administrator Job

SENIOR DATABASE ADMINISTRATORneeded for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in BOSTON, MA.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

Multiple RDBMS Experience, Database Security, Monitoring/Alerting Tools, Backup and recovery

Work independently with minimum supervision

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

Building out new functionality for the company's portal

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

3-5 Yrs of Experience with Expert Knowledge in any two of the following RDBMS:

MS SQL

Oracle

MySQL

Sybase

PostGreSQL

With Expert Knowledge and Implementation experience in combination of following areas:

Data Center Migration

Data Migration

Database Server Upgrade

Database Security

Excellent Communication Skill

Project Management Skill

Work independently with minimum supervision

Backup and recovery

Monitoring/Alerting Tools

Database Job control Tools

Data Modeling

Master Data Management

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience in any flavor of NoSQL, Experience in any flavor of Hadoop, Knowledge in Windows Operating System, Knowledge in Linux Operating System, Exposure to AWS
