SENIOR DWH TECHNICAL LEAD

On behalf of our client, a leading bank in Zürich, we are looking for a SENIOR DATA WAREHOUSE TECHNICAL LEAD. For this contract position based in Zurich in Switzerland our client is looking for an English speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible. ROLE:

- Technical lead for global data warehouse platform to support evolving regulatory needs for General Counsel providing consistent and high quality data

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Technical Lead role in implementing a global data sourcing and provisioning platform to support evolving regulatory needs for downstream applications providing consistent, high quality data
- Provide technical assistance to the team and drive issue resolution including optimize and performance tuning
- Close collaboration with project delivery lead in every development process aspect
- Creating and maintaining target architecture vision and roadmap for big data platform migration
- Lead technical migration to the strategic big data platform

SKILLS:

- Expert know-how of DWH with hands-on experience in data warehouse programming and architecture.
- Profound knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter is a must
- Experience in technical leadership
- Working experience on managed Enterprise Data warehouse platforms.
- Hands-on experience managing large number of upstream and downstream data feeds and applications
- Deep understanding of big data architecture, challenges and migration options
- Agile development and continuous integration experience
- Hands-on experience on Cloudera and Hadoop platform is a great plus
