SIX MONTH CONTRACT AMSTERDAM

DataPunt is the smart-city data infrastructure that helps to make data discoverable and accessible. This will be in use by our data professionals working together in self-governing teams. The senior data scientist is co-operative Foreman of the team data analysts of OIS. You will be expected to act as an example alongside it working with the whole spectrum of demand collection, collection, cleanup, transformation and integration of data, the set up databases or data structures up to reporting and data science/analytics. Translates complex data collections for information and intelligence products that contribute to the ambitions of the city of Amsterdam.

ACTIVITIES:
The assignment of work to employees.
Assisting employees in the execution of data projects.
Guiding trainees and trainees.
Clean up, edit, structure and make large amounts of data available through ad-hoc data deliveries, reports, visualizations, analytics
Contribute to the development of a domain-expanding data infrastructure.
Contribute to the innovation of data, information, analytics and research products and applications (big & fast data, predictive analytics, machine learning, dashboarding, population statistics, decision support systems).

JOB REQUIREMENTS
A completed education Automation
HBO/University work and thinking level with a relevant track record for current supplementary courses
Knowledge of high-level programming languages? and methods and techniques for visualizations, analytics, research and a continuous willingness to acquire. PYTHON (DJANGO), D3.JS, R, RAPIDMINER, TABLEAU, SPSS, JAVA, predictive analytics and machine learning experience.
Proven hands-on experience in the BI and Datascience field.
Experience with data modelling
Experience with collecting, cleaning up, transforming and integrating large amounts of data.
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (eg, Postgress, Hadoop)
