Senior Data Scientist

Hanson Regan are looking for a Senior data scientist to be based in Belgium, this role is also due to start ASAP for an initial 6 month project.

Requirements:

- Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience
- Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms and statistical analysis.
- Able to manage data analytical projects in an autonomous way
- Experience in telecommunications sector and/or operational efficiency domain is a plus
- Dutch and or French + English

Strong hands-on experience with data science technologies, incl:

- Data science: Python (TensorFlow)/R
- Big data: Spark, Hadoop
- Relational databases: SQL
- Experience with Real Time streaming is a plus

Experience with complete data science life cycle, incl:

- Business requirements gathering
- Data understanding, preparation, visualisation
- Data exploration, identification of high-value use cases
- Modelling (incl. feature engineering, model fitting, etc.)
- Deployment to production, reporting, maintenance
