My client is a global investment bank, 1 of the top 20 Banks in the world. They are actively on the look out for a Senior Data Modeler to come and join them on a 12month initial contract.

You will be the primary contact for the WRR LDM (Logical Data Model) and the LDM Change Process with my clients stakeholders and especially there Business Analysts and is responsible for facilitating the WRR LDM Change process in all facets, such identifying, modelling, documenting and prioritising the functional and non-functional data requirements of the business and business domain details.

You will represents customer and end-user concerns by facilitating the translation of the business data requirements captured by Business Analysts into a standardised, formal format as defined by the LDM Change Process.

You will act as the liaison between my clients customers and IT in order to deliver effective and cost-efficient solutions and is proactively involved in the entire software development process in order to ensure successful delivery of the system or release.

ACTIVITIES INCLUDE:

- You provide high impact (strategic and tactical) advice on a senior management level.
- You translate business requirements into (possible IT) solution requirements.
- You are responsible for requirements documentation and assist in developing and deploying the solution.
- You represent the department and your team and act as a reference point for staff colleagues and the business partners.
- You develop and maintain knowledge of business and business architecture.
- You continuously work to increase knowledge and to be familiar with best practices.
- You assess the impact on the WRR logical data model and work with the WRR LDM team to extend the model if necessary
- You work with business users to ensure they can understand the data model and can use it to meet their needs
