Senior Data Architect and Data Management CoE Lead/Data Architect and

My client, a large consultancy, is looking for a Senior Data Architect and Data Management CoE Lead immediately for the next 6-12 months.

The ideal candidate will have strong Good understanding of Modern Data Architectures including EDW, Hadoop, MPP, ETL, Analytics, Extensive experience on Data Warehousing, Familiarity with Big Data, Data Standardisation (Data definitions, Meta Data), Data Abstraction and Virtualisation, Business Intelligence and Analytics, Must be able to talk functionally as well as be able to justify technical direction that he/she is recommending, Experience of Industry Standard Data Models - IFW Knowledge/BDWM Details knowledge needed - must be able to understand down to attribute level, Familiarity of different data management techniques - different models of operation (eg ODS, MDM - distributed, centralised etc), Experience on Metadata Management, Experience on Datamodelling, Governance, Experience of tools - if possible ERWIN, Infosphere Data Architect, Rational Software Architect, Experience of Banking domain and Banking industry data models, High level exp with all aspects as defined in DMBOK (from DAMA).
