We have an exciting and challenging new opportunity for two high calibre (Business) Data Analysts and are looking for talented professionals to join the team.
- Delivery of high quality management information is key to successful delivery of the strategy, and the Central MI Team is responsible for delivery of the projects funded by this investment.
- At present, the team uses a system of Oracle data cubes accessed via an Essbase analytical Front End. However, this system is expected to evolve significantly over the course of the project. The role will play a key role in ensuring this transformation is successful.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Providing a localised helpdesk for planning team and business partners
- Preparing and updating reporting hierarchies for the reporting cycles
- Addition of new users and controlling access to the system via security groups
- Owning and maintaining the VBA driven data upload template
- Load data where necessary and carrying out reconciliations on the results.

Development of Reporting System to maintain alignment with business requirements:

- Editing outlines (adding new members, shared members, calculations & attributes)
- Creating and amending load rules
- Creating and amending report scripts
- Creating and amending native security, filters and groups
- Contributing to the design and build of the replacement system

CAPABILITIES

- Strong knowledge of Excel and a good understanding of Excel macros and VBA
- Experience of Essbase, TM1 and Analytical Services add-ins very beneficial
- An ability to write queries in SQL and MDX to extract data from reporting systems
