SENIOR DATA ANALYST (GERMAN/ENGLISH SPEAKING)

On behalf of our client, one of the MARKET LEADERS IN THE FIELD OF MEDICAL DEVICES/PHARMACEUTICALS WITH HQ IN BASEL, Switzerland, we are looking for a Senior Data Analyst
This is a CONTRACTING position from the 23RD OF JULY UNTIL THE END OF THIS YEAR (extension might be possible but needs to be approved), based in the heart BASEL, close to the main station.
BACKGROUND: For the Manufacturing IT Basel Team we are looking for a Business Analyst with strong scientific background.
WHAT YOUR ROLE WILL ENTAIL:
- Support applications we manage in the manufacturing area
- Working following ITIL and CSV guidelines
- Define, run and document changes within the system
- The candidate will be in close collaboration with the Manufacturing IT team
- Gather, collect data and prepare reports
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
- Degree in Informatics or Engineering
- +8 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE in the relevant area (business analysis with strong scientific background)
- Former working experience in a MANUFACTURING OR LABORATORY AREA (at least 5 years)
- Fluent ENGLISH/GERMAN speaking is a must
- Required technology skills (hands-on experience): SQL, SPOTFIRE, JAVA, JAVASCRIPT, R, PYTHON, SOLR
- Experience in specifying and documenting of systems and applications
- Self-reliant, resilient, flexible and have a high service orientation
- Good technical understanding with good networked thinking
IT WOULD BE AN ADVANTAGE IF YOU ALSO HAVE:
- Experience in Pharma production or IT environment (GxP, CSV)
GENERAL INFORMATION:
- Preferred start date: 23.07.2018 (or earlier if possible)
- Latest start date: 30.07.2018
- End date: 31.12.2018
- Extension: An extension might be possible, but would need to be approved.
- Work location: 100% onsite in Basel
- Remote/Home Office: Not possible.
- Travelling: Not required.
