Senior Credit Underwriter - Corporate & Commercial

My major banking client is currently looking to hire a Senior Credit Underwriter to work on the banks large corporate and commercial advances. This will involve managing approvals for small businesses and large accounts with applicants taking accountability for underwriting exposures. The role will require regular interaction with Senior Credit Committees and the Head of Corporate Underwriting.

Applicants must have a wide experience in corporate lending covering SME, Commercial Real Estate, PFI and Renewable Energy and Asset finance experience. An understanding of regulatory requirements (preferably Basel II) and how they affect Credit Risk management is an important part of the role.

Key Skills

*Strong history of Credit underwriting
*Good experience in the Corporate and Commercial area
*Knowledge of regulatory requirements behind Credit Risk Management (Especially Basel II)
*Analytical background
