Senior Credit Risk Systems Analyst

My Retail Banking client is seeking a Senior Risk Systems Analyst to work within a team of SMEs to design, develop and maintain a single, common risk infrastructure that integrates policies and customer experience across products and risk disciplines.

Key responsibilities will include:

Contribute to the Implementation and embedding of a 'design authority' methodology for Risk systems and infrastructure, responsible for the design and development of Risk requirements
Support the identification of areas where needs be to either improve its current infrastructure or develop new capability
. These environments cover credit decisioning systems, both application and behavioural; collections environments for both secured and unsecured products; fraud detection systems both Real Time and batch; Anti Money Laundering and Know Your Customer; and operational risk tools
. Influence the design and implementation of system functionality to accurately and effectively capture customer data and deliver it into risk's data environment
. Work within a team of a SMEs that have the skills to assess and evaluate current, and future state, risk systems and hardware against established and emerging industry practices
. Design, develop and maintain fit for purpose Risk infrastructure that can support the organisation in meeting its strategic objectives
. Execute robust processes that monitor and evidence that the risk infrastructure supports the organisation in meeting its strategic objectives
. Support the team to work across all Risk disciplines, and other relevant areas of the business and functional areas, to co-ordinate the gathering of requirements for Fit-For-Purpose data and systems
. Contribute to the system design forum so that the chosen risk infrastructure is consistent across all the programmes and leverages commonality of needs as far as possible
. Execute changes to infrastructure and strategy in line with governance and processes
. Execute the Risk MI & reporting testing strategy and approach.  Where appropriate oversee the test activity within the respective projects
. Provide sound recommendations on the effective enhancement of infrastructure. 

To be considered, you will have experience of strategic projects in a Risk driven environment within the financial sector. You will have experience of implementing strategies into Decision Systems (SDS, Triad, Debt Manager, Falcon), and have excellent analytical and numerical skills. Knowledge of SQL is advantageous.
