Senior Credit Risk Analyst / Undewriter Trade Credit Insurance

An opportunity for a senior Credit Risk Analyst / Underwriter is now available with one of theUK's most prevalent Trade Credit Insurance firms. The role involves the analysis of firms trade credit exposures, balance sheet and cash position to assess the liability and appropriate premium for trade credit insurance. You will be underwriting upto £2m in liabilities for the organisation at your discretion. Exposures greater than this level will be referred to a credit risk committee and you will be responsible for presenting a case for or against the clients application for trade credit insurance.

We are looking for candidates that have excellent understanding of underwriting or Credit Risk within the insurance industry, specifically experience within the trade credit insurance market place would be strongly preferred. You will most likely be degree educated with excellent numeracy skills and a flexibility to work that allows you to undertake a broad range of sub projects within the Credit Risk and Underwriting teams.
