For our client, from the BANKING INDUSTRY, we are looking for an experienced SENIOR JAVA DEVELOPER for a contractual job for 12 months in Zurich. The successful candidate will be working within a development team of approximately 60+ people across Switzerland, Poland and India

Key Responsibilities:

- Development and writing applications responsible for Order and Trade Management
- Automated build, packaging and deployment process for production deployments.
- Working with other team members on the requirements, preparing the releases and delivering the applications to production
- Continuous integration testing and related documentation updates
- Actively participate in the design and technology review of the applications written in the team
- Provide support for the existing systems where required
- Work closely with stakeholders on the analysis, design and development of new features

Key Skills and Qualifications:

- 5+ YEARS' EXPERIENCE IN CORE JAVA DEVELOPMENT (JAVA8+ AND SPRING BOOT)
- EXCELLENT UNDERSTANDING OF JAVA TECHNOLOGY FUNDAMENTALS AND DESIGN PATTERNS USED IN REAL TIME TRANSACTION PROCESSING SYSTEMS
- HIGH LEVEL OF EXPERIENCE WITH LOW LATENCY PLATFORM
- Experience in Enterprise Integration Patterns as well behaviour driven development
- Experience with all phases of the software/system life cycle process
- Excellent organizational, problem solving, and written/verbal communication skills
- Working experience in an agile environment
- Business knowledge of financial products is a plus
- Fluency in English, German an advantage.
