An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Contracts Manager to work for my large Public sector client.

This position will be based in High Wycombe with regular weekly travel to Oxford, initially until end of October 2015 paying up to £320 per day LTD Company.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

Must have understanding of acute PBR national tariff. Must have experience working with NHS contracts. Must have worked as a contracts manager in NHS.

JOB PURPOSE

The postholder will be responsible for contract management and commissioning support to a portfolio of contracts, and provide relationship management alongside and on behalf of customers. This role provides senior contract management and contracting support for a portfolio of small community and Independent contracts. The role ensures that there is an overview provided for the day to day contractual management and that customer requirements from contractual performance reviews are delivered

The key working relationships for the post holder will be:- Contract Specialist, Provider Performance, Customer Relationship Manager

Line management responsibility for the Contract Support Manager, Contract Assistant and Contract Managers

Work closely with finance and information colleagues in the management of the contracts portfolio

Liaison with Strategic Planning and Service Redesign team, Quality and Procurement teams

Working alongside CCG staff to manage the provider contracts will require close working relationships and excellent communication

Provider staff for the contracts within your portfolio, fostering open and honest working relationships

KEY RESULTS

To develop and maintain excellent relationships with customers founded on provision robust provider performance and expert contracting support.

Performance and activity reporting

Provide information, advice, guidance and support to provider performance and quality meetings

Support to contract development, negotiation and finalisation including contract activity plans and cost schedules

Support to contract dispute resolution support

Provider activity validation and data quality review

Contracts benchmarking
