Senior Contracts Manager

A great opportunity has arisen for a bright, proactive individual to work as a Contracts Manager within the Nuclear Industry. Our client is a waste management company that provides services to customers to treat and dispose of low level radioactive waste; they oversee a national programme to ensure that lower activity waste is managed effectively.

Supporting the Framework Manager, your key responsibilities will include;
. The Generation of contract and commercial management deliverables, including some reporting against progress to the Contract Manager.
. Identification, analysis, and management of contract & commercial risks, issues, and assumptions.
. Lead on further competitions, co-ordination & assessment of tender documentation and producing recommendation for award, (framework terms are based on NEC3 term service contract).
. Lead on contract and commercial management of new service projects placed through the services framework during engagement.
. Provide support and guidance to both internal parties and external customers and suppliers.
. Support service project transition and development of standardised service project documentation (eg service quotations, plans, risk registers).
. Support framework manager in the establishment of supplier relationships, to build, strengthen & maintain new
. Strong commercial & contract awareness and able to demonstrate experience in purchasing & contract management.
. Establishing & mobilising of suitable supplier relationships.
. Experience of leading or clear involvement in complex business programmes.
. Able to establish and then strengthen strong professional relationships between site, employees and supply chain
. Experience of public procurement regulations, or alternative structured procurement systems. MCIPS/RICS/NEC3 qualifications are highly desirable
