Senior Consultant - Rail Freight Background (Q7)

Our customer, a leading Consulting Organisation is seeking an experienced SENIOR CONSULTANT with a strong RAIL FREIGHT BACKGROUND for a 6 MONTH CONTRACT engagement in BRISBANE with a possible extension.   

Purpose:
You will be working on a business led project that is focused on providing operational improvement in the following areas:

- Train control
- Rail scheduling
- Crew rostering
- Asset condition monitoring

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE:

- Strong stakeholder management.
- Excellent understanding of technologies, devising solutions and effectively presenting these to business stakeholders.
- Work alongside the Subject Matter Expert and understand what is required from a delivery aspect ie schedules, governance, controls etc
- Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong presentation skills and ability
- Demonstrated high level consulting experienced
- Worked in large complex environments
- Candidates from a Consulting background will be highly regarded.

Mandatory requirements for this role include:
A solid understanding and background in Rail freight in one or more of the following areas:

- Train control
- Rail scheduling
- Crew rostering
- Asset condition monitoring
