SENIOR COMPLIANCE MANAGER - COMPLIANCE

Our client, a large investment bank, has an urgent requirement for a Senior Compliance Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing review activity for the companies distribution channels. Compliance oversight is responsible for identifying, assessing, challenging and reposting on regulatory risk exposures across the group.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

- Setting the direction for oversight activities
- Reviews - defining and delivering on the remit for the team and ensuring they are effective
- Providing leadership to a team of Compliance Managers, Senior Reviewers, Reviewers and Analyst
- Very hands on role in high profile, complex regulator reviews
- Accountability for the output of the team to ensure deadlines are met on time and within budget
- Strong Director level and stakeholder management involvement
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required

CORE SKILLS:

- The successful candidate will have previous experience in a senior compliance management role
- An extensive background within Financial Services
- Experience of working in a Risk Management environment
- Experience will be Embedded on the business side (UNFORTUNATELY WE ARE UNABLE TO CONSIDER CANDIDATES WHOSE EXPERIENCE IS PREDOMINATELY FOCUSED WITHIN THE IT)
