THIS IS AN EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITY TO JOIN A TOP TIER BANK IN NORTHAMPTON AS A SENIOR COMPLIANCE MANAGER. THE ROLE HOLDER WILL BE REQUIRED TO:

- Agree and take leadership on the development of the strategy, objectives and priorities for areas of responsibility
- Keep up to date on all regulatory related issues across a range of topics
- Ensure all issues identified are appropriately logged, tracked and for medium and high risk issues, are only closed when acceptable evidence has been supplied to justify closure.
- Resolve challenges to reports/issues/proposals and lead in taking difficult message to the business
- Be a role model for other compliance staff and an ambassador for the department when dealing with the business and external stakeholders - drive and embed a compliance culture within the business
- Interpret key regulatory rules, guidance and proposed regulatory changes in relation to products and services

KEY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

ESSENTIAL

- Proven project management skills
- Working knowledge of regulatory bodies ie FSA, FOS, FLA, OFCOM, ICO
- Extensive experience working on a regulatory/compliance programme
- Strong IT understanding
- Senior stakeholder engagement
- Financial service industry experience
