We are recruiting a large number of experienced Senior Customer Service professionals based in Leeds (LS2 8AE) on a contract basis for a FTSE 100 company within the Financial Services/Banking sector.

You will have experience within a telephone based role (Customer Service or Call Centre), resolving complaints, ideally within a Financial Services or Banking environment, but this is not essential.

On a starting salary of £19,000, initially on a 6 Month Contract (with a Strong chance of extension), working 37.5 hours per week, we have a mixture of shifts available:

. 08.00 to 16.00 Monday to Friday
. 10.00 to 18.00 Monday to Friday
. 13.00 to 21.00 Monday to Friday

You will also work every Saturday, 8 hours between 08.00 and 18.00 with a day off the week.

There are excellent opportunities for career progression into more senior roles offering higher salaries.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To process through to a conclusion those customer cases that cannot be dealt with at first point of resolution by call handlers. This may include some or all of the requirement to investigate, assess, reach a conclusion, perform accurate calculations and provide a high standard of customer service on individual cases in line with relevant product, procedural and regulatory requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED

. Customer Service/Contact centre experience
. Financial services complaint handling experience is preferred but not essential
. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
. Confident and customer focussed telephone manner
. Numeracy and computer literacy (eg Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook)
. Able to analyse data and make decisions confidently
. Customer focused when dealing with a range of people
. Have meticulous attention to detail
. Be highly organised and able to manage own workload to meet stretching targets and strict deadlines
. Able to work as part of a team
