A prestigious NHS organisation based in Stockton-On-Tees is looking for a Commissioning Support Officer to join their team.

The Commissioning Support Officer will be working closely with the GP practices and engaging with the locality leads and membership practices to improve quality within primary care.

To support practices to redesign or improve processes to improve the quality of patient care

To employ techniques such as lean methodology, change management, problem solving, and project management to improve the quality of primary care services

To support practices in identifying and resolving issues with patient pathways

To use data analysis and local intelligence to identify issues and support the practices with a resolution

To identify common themes and patterns and 'big issues' affecting the quality of services within/across practices and seek to resolve these issues with support from the management team and relevant clinicians

To lead and deliver specific programmes of work to specified quality, time, cost and performance metrics

Utilise appropriate IT Systems eg RAIDR and Practice based systems/data always working within information governance guidelines when accessing or communicating sensitive or confidential data
