As a Senior Bank Examiner at one of the largest financial institutions in Boston, you will oversee ongoing supervisory efforts at the head of our examinations unit. Using your understanding of risk management programs, the successful candidate will implement our System supervision policy by managing a team of assisting examiners. Your highly skilled team will formulate conclusions and communicate those findings effectively to bank management to affect positive change. Principal Accountabilities:
* Plan and execute full scope of targeted examination of financial institutions.
* Demonstrate good judgment and well-reasoned decision making in situations that may involve complex issues, public scrutiny, market reactions, and potentially adversarial circumstances.
* Evaluate management and influence their actions through effective negotiation and conflict resolution to achieve supervisory goals. This includes obtaining possible changes to operating policies or practices, while maintaining positive relationships with key stakeholders.
* Conduct meetings with senior management and/or the board of directors of banking organizations, often involving complex issues.
* May serve as relationship manager for the supervision of one or more banking organizations. In this capacity, continuously assess the financial and operating condition of supervised institutions and maintain ongoing communication with the institution's senior management and directors.
* Maintain advanced technical expertise and apply and transfer knowledge of regulations and industry issues through timely and efficient communication.
* Serve as a mentor to new examiners.

Knowledge and Experience
* Knowledge and experience normally acquired through, or equivalent to, the completion of a Master's degree and a minimum of 3-5 years of job-relatied experience.
* Must be a commissioned examiner.
