SENIOR COMMERCIAL MANAGER - PAYMENTS RESPONSIBILITIES:
COMMERCIAL RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT
- Responsible for leading commercial negotiations with Senior Executive level individuals from all global card scheme operators
- Deliver a commercial strategy including a product roadmap for each Scheme
- Adhere to all Supplier Management policies and control processes when developing Scheme relationships
DEVELOPMENTS AND PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT
- Proactively manage a corporate relationship that delivers an income of £1m per annum and exploit other areas to generate further revenues
- Establish relationships with key stakeholders providing regular communication of product performance, risks and opportunities
- Work closely with customers and colleagues to review scheme performance and identify, recommend and deliver new concepts/enhancements
SCHEME STRATEGY AND NEW INITIATIVES
- Identify and prioritise developments which meet customer needs, contribute towards market leadership functionality and are commercially sound
- Responsible for undertaking detailed commercial analysis of existing and future deal structures, monitoring performance against these structures and making recommendations to the Executive Committee based on sound analysis
- Ensure supporting information for new or enhanced products is delivered eg product documentation and sales training
- Develop strong relationships with suppliers and partners to align product development roadmaps and agree profitable commercial terms for new/enhanced developments
£45,000 - £60,000 + Car Allowance, Pension, Life Assurance, Healthcare, Flexible benefits
