Senior Cognos Developer - 6 Month Contract

We are looking for a Senior Cognos Developer to join our State Government client for an initial 6 month contract.

Initially located on the CBD fringes, the client plans to relocate to Brisbane's Northern Suburbs - so this could be an ideal role for someone living on Brisbane's Northside.

As Senior Cognos Developer you will be expected to:

- Provide advice and guidance in applications development and support using IBM Cognos BI.
- Perform development activities across the entire development life cycle including Analysis, Design, Programming and Installation.

To be considered for this role you must have at LEAST 5 YEARS COMMERCIAL EXPERIENCE developing
BI solutions using IBM Cognos BI - specific knowledge/experience with TM1 and SPSS would be a huge advantage.

You must also have:

- In-depth and demonstrable understanding of ETL and Enterprise DW principles, techniques and concepts.
- Experience with DataStage
- Great analytical and problem solving skills
- Proven ability to work within cross functional teams and communicate effectively with team members, managers, business representatives, and stakeholders.
