Senior Cloud Foundry Specialist

- Functionally & operationally responsible for the PIVOTAL CLOUD FOUNDRY PLATFORM as a Service
- Stand-by is part of the assignment (7x24)
- INSTALLING, BACKING UP, RESTORING, AND UPGRADING PIVOTAL CLOUD FOUNDRY
- Using BOSH to troubleshoot PIVOTAL CLOUD FOUNDRY installation
- Monitoring Pivotal Cloud Foundry with component logs/metrics and integration with Grafana/

Prometheus. - ELASTIC RUNTIME ARCHITECTURE(PAS) & Understanding capacity planning and multi-site deployments
- Cloud Foundry concepts: (APPLICATIONS, buildpacks, stemcell, MANIFEST, ORGANIZATIONS, SPACES, DOMAINS, ROUTES, SERVICES)
- Build app packages that can be deployed to Cloud Foundry using CF CLI.
- Deployment of Redis and POSTGRESQL to PCF using BOSH
- Network configuration, TCP/IP, SOCKETS, TLS certs in PCF.
- Creating concourse pipelines/jobs/tasks/resources for automating PCF infrastructure installation.
- Shell/bash Scripting.

Requirements:

- +7 YEARS OF OVERALL EXPERIENCE
- Experienced operator with a LINUX background and some experience in CLOUD-NATIVE DEVELOPMENT.
- Experienced in the workings of CLOUD FOUNDRY and other container based & cloud solutions.
- Some experience with PIVOTAL CLOUD FOUNDRY will be needed.
- High focus on automation for the installation & maintenance of the platform. -- Experienced with the use of CI/CD tooling such as GIT, NEXUS, JENKINS, CONCOURSE & BAMBOO.
- Experience in LINUX shells and other command line interfaces is a pre-requisite.
