Senior Cloud Advisor - Azure Infrastructure (5645)

For a project at our client's site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for a:

SENIOR CLOUD ADVISOR - AZURE INFRASTRUCTURE (5645)

In this role, you will serve as a cloud advisor for lines of business demand/requirements in the delivery of Azure infrastructure and technical input to the design and implementation of solutions.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

- WELL VERSED IN DESIGNING & BUILDING AZURE SOLUTIONS THAT INCLUDE HIGH AVAILABILITY, MULTI-REGION AND MULTI-SET ARCHITECTURES WITH CLOUD-ENABLED SERVICE AND DEPLOYMENT MODELS INCLUDING PUBLIC, PRIVATE & HYBRID
- THOROUGH UNDERSTANDING OF AZURE CLOUD OFFERINGS AND ITS SERVICES
- Experienced in establishing Azure best practice in line with Azure Architecture Framework and Azure Cloud Design Patterns
- Strong understanding of core Azure infrastructure including VMs, configuration & deployment, AAD, Storage Accounts, Load Balancers, Auto scaling, Resource Groups, cloud networking, ARM Templates etc.
- FLUENT IN ENGLISH, GERMAN IS A BIG PLUS

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Serve as a cloud advisor for lines of business demand/requirements in the delivery of Azure infrastructure and technically input to the design and implementation of solutions
- Involved in working closely with lines of business to ensure understanding of their requirements, and implement cloud solutions delivered to meet these requirements
- Undertake individual cloud candidate assessment/qualification assignments to gather data to help architects/engineers design new cloud based solution for lines of business
- Work with Line of Business to create functional Azure architectures, and assist with other project deliverable as needed.
- Gather and track Line of Business demand as well as attend and present at customer workshops and meetings
- Develop cloud migration/transition roadmaps
