Senior Citrix Consultant - £600 per day - 12 Month Contract - London - Start ASAP

CITRIX CONSULTANT, CITRIX, VIRTUALISATION, INFRASTRUCTURE, XEN DESKTOP, XEN APP, 3RD & 4TH LINE/ WINDOWS SERVER 2003 & 2008 / MS WINDOWS OPERATING SYSTEMS

A excellent opportunity has emerged with one of Progressive's most prestigious clients working within the financial sector. Our client based within London are in need of a experienced Citrix Consultant to start immediately on a 12 month contract with scope for extension.

Essential competencies:
* Setup XenDesktop 5.6 within a POC environment
* Setup XenDesktop 5.6 WI (Web Interfaces)
* Work with Network team to allow Citrix traffic across two sites (UK and Ireland)
* Create a new Windows XP build (vDisk) to allow users to access remotely
* Install and configure License server, DDC (Desktop delivery controllers, WI (Web Interfaces, Desktop studio Desktop director, and Microsoft SQL database
* Lock down Windows XP using Citrix best practices/recommendations
* Installing applications on the build and making it available for testing
* Managing acceptance of the Windows XP Professional build
