SENIOR CHANGE PROJECT MANAGER (BANKING)

Our client, world leader in the banking services, is currently looking for a Senior Change Project Manager who has extensive experience in the banking industry.

For this contract position based in Zürich in Switzerland our client is looking for an English (German an advantage) speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible.

RESPONSIBILITY:

- Delivery responsibility for design, build, deployment and operation of global shared components in the area of the bank's Operations.
- Managing the shared components as a global product, which requires global requirements, deployment and stakeholder management
- Provide leadership for global delivery team: directing globally distributed engineering team to ensure highly efficient and seamless delivery of solutions

SKILLS:

- Long term experience to lead larger international teams (20-30+ staff) as line manager and/or program manager
- Extensive change programmes experience
- Experience with Agile methodologies, ideally within Scaled Agile Framework (Safe) or similar large scale agile models.
- Engineering background as developer, technical lead and/or solution architect
- Long track record in project management and business engineering ideally in the area of Operations IT
- Very good banking knowledge in particular understanding cash and security settlement processes within Operations
- Excellent communication skills on all levels (from senior management to staff)
- Experience to manage outsourcing or offshore delivery in order to drive efficient project delivery
- Long term experience in distributed development (Java EE/Oracle) with understanding of Mainframe and Service Oriented Architectures (SOA)
- Leadership ability and awareness of different management styles and cultural adaptations required within a global team

QUALIFICATIONS:

- University degree or higher education in Information Technology (or equivalent) or Mathematics/hard sciences and/or business administration
- Fluent in written and spoken English required. Fluent German is highly desirable.
- Certified Agile professional training is highly desirable.
