My client is a progressive public sector organisation, with an innovative Commercial structure, who are looking to recruit a number of Senior Category Specialists within the Highways, Environment & Communities, Childrens Social Care and IT categories.
The successful candidates will have the following background / experience:

- A track record of Category Management within a Procurement / Commercial function.
- A strategic thinker who challenges the ethos and looks to bring innovation.
- Commercial acumen with a passion for `owning` a Category and being a thought leader
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience of engaging with services to deliver the strategic priorities of an organisation / partnership.

Public Sector / Specific category experience is desirable but isn`t essential.
