Senior Carer

Senior Carer - Lancashire - 2 months contract - £7.82 per hour (Including Holiday Pay)

Monday to Sunday - Day and Evening shifts on a rota - 25-33 hours per week

The successful candidates must have the following Essential criteria:

Experience of assisting in the implementation of the medication procedure, including ordering, booking in, administering and returning medication.
Experience of supporting clients with medication
Working with older or vulnerable people
Organising work patterns and rotas
Delivering personal care
Motivating People
Build confidence, relationships and trust
Responsibility for achieving individual and team targets
Able to demonstrate an understanding of the needs of older people
Understanding of working with Care Quality Commission Regulations and Standards
Monitor and manage performance
Ability to organise & prioritise workloads
Effective time management and organisational skills
Ability to work in a fast paced work environment
Effective decision making skills
Excellent communication, both verbal & in writing
Ability to maintain accurate & up to date records
Ability to manage own time and prioritise
Ability to take a flexible approach to role and tasks
Ability to work on own initiative & in a team

Job Purpose:

To deliver high quality care and support services to Residents

To contribute to the effective running of the home

To work within the requirements of Care Quality Commission Standards

Support the Registered Manager as required in their duties

To deputise as the senior member of staff on duty
