Senior Ca:gen Technical Lead

A resource is required to undertake a technical lead role on projects included in Roads and Maritime Services' current Maintenance schedule of work for 2014, providing services including:

- Assist in the formulation of the project scope for each maintenance delivery based on business priorities and produce the relevant project documentation
- Verify production problem assessments and change request assessments included in the scope of the project
- Co-ordinate CA:GEN development activities associated to the project
- Co-ordinate progression of Guardien Change Requests (GCRs) through delivery life cycle
- Support of the project during the testing phases to analyse and co-ordinate defect resolution
- Act as a single point of contact for all CA:GEN related technical issues related to the project and co-ordinate with various stakeholders to ensure appropriate resolution

The primary deliverables will be the resolution of production problems impacting the DRIVES application and small incremental changes to the DRIVES application requested by the business units which adhere to architectural standards for the DRIVES system.

Candidates will require a strong CA:GEN background with proven problem analysis, design and development capabilities. They will also need to be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal and leadership skills as the role will require them to act as a technical lead on the project, dealing with various other parties including the business client, project managers, business analysts, developers and testers while taking a lead role in co-ordinating the CA:GEN development effort.
